Frequently asked questions about hair care

1. How do I choose the right shampoo for my hair?

The right shampoo depends on your hair type and specific needs. Choose a shampoo that suits your hair condition:

  • Dry hair ? Choose a hydrating shampoo with ingredients like hyaluronic acid, coconut oil, or shea butter to deeply nourish your hair and reduce frizz.
  • Colored hair ? Protect your hair color with a color-preserving shampoo that prevents fading and hydrates your hair without stripping it of color.
  • Fine hair ? Go for a volumizing shampoo that gives your hair light, airy body without weighing it down.
  • Curly hair ? Use a curl-defining shampoo with nourishing and anti-frizz properties to keep your curls bouncy and frizz-free.
  • Oily hair ? A deep-cleansing or balancing shampoo helps regulate excess sebum , so your hair stays fresh longer without drying out.
  • Dandruff ? Choose an anti-dandruff shampoo that soothes your scalp, reduces flakes , and restores a healthy balance.
  • Blonde hair ? Neutralize unwanted yellow tones with a silver or purple shampoo and maintain a fresh, cool blonde hue.

2. How often should I use shampoo for my hair type?

  • Dry hair → 1-2 times a week
  • Damaged hair → 1-2 times a week
  • Oily hair → 1-2 times a week
  • Colored hair → 1-2 times a week
  • Fine hair → 1-2 times a week
  • Curly hair → 1-2 times a week
  • Rose → 1-2 times a week
  • Blonde hair → 1-2 times a week

The less often you wash your hair, the better! Once or twice a week is sufficient. Need a refresher in between? Use a dry shampoo .

3. What should I do besides using shampoo?

Always use a conditioner that suits your hair type. For extra care, you can add a leave -in conditioner , hair mask or oil to your routine.

4. Can I use a product for damaged hair if my hair is dry?

Yes! Many products for damaged hair also offer intensive hydration, making them ideal for both dry and damaged hair.

5.Which shampoo should my daughter aged 10+ use for hair that gets greasy faster?

I would start by using NAK Hair's volume shampoo . She can wash her hair twice in a row. The first time you'll cleanse it more, the second time it will be more conditioning.

If this doesn't cleanse enough, I would use the ultimate cleanse shampoo for the first wash use and the 2nd wash the volume shampoo.

She can also always use a dry shampoo in between, e.g. the dry clean shampoo , on days 2 and 3 after washing so that it certainly does not look greasy but still looks neat.
