How to choose
Skin and nail oils, hand cream or traces of water stop polish from adhering properly. Cleansing removes that layer so your Striplac or gel polish adheres directly to your nail.
- Quick and easy: the Striplac cleansing wipes, also in a travel pack.
- With a liquid: the Mii Cosmetics refine + finish gel cleanser on an Alessandro cotton nail wipe.
- Extra prep: the Striplac prime coat, a nail prep that also strengthens your nail.
Don't touch your nails after cleansing, or you'll transfer oil again. Then you can go straight on with Striplac.
Frequently asked questions
Everything you want to know
How do I use a nail cleanser?
Put a little on a nail wipe, wipe over the whole nail plate and let it dry briefly. It takes 30 seconds per hand.
Can I use regular alcohol?
Pure isopropyl alcohol works as an alternative. A nail cleanser removes both oil and moisture, though, and gives the best adhesion.
Should I cleanse my nails for regular polish too?
Yes, regular polish also adheres better to an oil-free nail and stays beautiful for longer.
