How to choose
A body self-tanner gives you a beautiful tan without sun. Here you’ll find mousses, lotions, butters, serums and sprays from Azure Tan, Mii Cosmetics, Institut Esthederm and Abstract.
How to choose:
- Fair skin, subtle glow: the Azure Tan Nourish & Glow gradual tanning lotion or the Mii Cosmetics Daily boost body cream. The colour builds gently.
- Medium skin, warm tone: a medium to dark mousse, such as Azure Tan Organic Coconut or Hydrating Watermelon.
- Deep, intense tan: an Azure Tan dark to ultra dark or extreme to maximum mousse.
- Dry skin: a tanning butter, such as Azure Tan Firm & Tone or Shimmering.
- An instant glow that washes off: the Mii Cosmetics Instant shimmer temporary tanning lotion.
Prep your skin with a scrub and mitt and moisturise daily, so your colour stays beautiful for longer.
Frequently asked questions
Everything you want to know
Mousse, butter, lotion or serum: which should I choose?
A mousse gives the fastest, most intense result. A butter or lotion is richer and builds more slowly, good for dry skin. A serum is the lightest and absorbs the fastest.
What do light, medium and dark mean?
Light to medium is subtle, good to start with. Medium to dark gives a visible tan after 1 application. Dark to ultra dark is for a deep, intense colour. Start lighter, you can always add more.
How long does self-tan last?
On average 5 to 7 days. Moisturise daily, shower lukewarm and only exfoliate again once your colour starts to fade unevenly.
