How to choose
Clean brushes give a better make-up finish and keep dirt and bacteria away from your skin. A brush cleanser removes make-up residue without damaging the bristles or the glue in the handle.
How to choose:
- Quick in-between clean: the Make Up For Ever Dry Brush Cleanser or Instant brush cleanser, or On The Spot by ELIN Cosmetics.
- A deep clean with water: the ELIN Cosmetics Vegan Brush Soap or the Mii Cosmetics brush balms, which also condition your brushes.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you want to know
How do I clean my make-up brushes?
Wet the brush with lukewarm water, bristles pointing down. Massage a little brush cleanser in your palm, rinse until the water runs clear and dry flat, never upright.
How often should I clean my brushes?
Foundation and concealer brushes after every use. Powder, blush and eyeshadow brushes at least once a week. Sponges after every use.
Can I use regular soap or shampoo?
A mild baby shampoo will do, but a brush cleanser is better: it removes make-up residue without damaging the bristles or the glue in the handle.
