How to choose
Dry, rough hands or cuticles that crack? Here you'll find everything to care for your hands every day: from mild hand soap to hand cream, hand masks and cuticle oil.
How to choose:
- During the day: a light hand cream that absorbs quickly, such as the this is us. hand cream spray or the Footlogix hydrating hand mousse.
- In the evening or for very dry hands: a richer cream or a hand mask, such as the Mii Cosmetics love + hydrate hand mask.
- Rough cuticles: a cuticle cream or cuticle oil.
- Lots of time outdoors: the Mokosh lotion with SPF 30 also protects the thin skin on the back of your hands.
Tip: keep your hand cream next to the sink so you never forget it after washing. For your nails, have a look at nail and cuticle care.
Frequently asked questions
Everything you want to know
Why do my hands get dry so quickly?
You wash your hands far more often than the rest of your body. Soap and water strip the natural oils from your skin. Use a mild hand soap and apply hand cream after every wash.
When is the best time to use hand cream?
After every wash and especially before bed. In the evening you can use a richer cream, as it can work undisturbed without you washing your hands straight away.
Does hand cream help my cuticles too?
Yes, a good hand cream makes your cuticles more supple. For an even better result, follow with cuticle oil.
Do my hands need SPF?
Yes, especially if you spend a lot of time outdoors. The skin on the back of your hands is thin and ages just as fast from UV as your face.
