How to choose
With a make-up sponge you blend foundation, concealer and powder seamlessly, for a natural finish without streaks. Here you’ll find sponges from Make Up For Ever and Paul & Joe.
How to choose:
- HD Skin Foundation sponge: for liquid foundation.
- HD Skin Compact Foundation sponge: for compact foundation.
- Make-up blender pink: to blend foundation and concealer evenly.
- Paul & Joe Gel Foundation sponge: goes with the Paul & Joe Gel Foundation.
Wet your sponge first and squeeze it out well, so it absorbs less product. Press your foundation onto your skin with short dabbing movements, without rubbing, from the centre of your face outwards. Then choose your foundation.
Frequently asked questions
Everything you want to know
How often should you replace a make-up sponge?
Every 3 months with regular use. If it’s damaged, torn or keeps a smell, replace it sooner.
Can you use a make-up sponge for powder?
Yes. With a dry sponge you press powder onto your skin for a matte finish, with a damp sponge you get a more skin-like finish.
How do you clean a make-up sponge?
After every use, with lukewarm water and a mild cleanser or a brush cleanser. Squeeze until the water runs clear and let it air dry.
