A tan created by tanning without sun doesn't offer any extra sun protection! So applying sunscreen whenever you're exposed to UV light remains a must.

What is DHA (dihydroxyacetone)?

DHA is a colorless, natural ingredient extracted from sugar beets and sugar cane. It's the reaction between these sugars and the amino acids in your skin that creates a chemical reaction called the Maillard reaction, which causes you to tan.

This process is safe for the skin and lasts an average of 5 to 10 days, depending on your skin condition and the product used.
