How to choose
A primer makes your make-up last longer, settles less into your pores and makes your complexion look more even. You also need less foundation. Here you’ll find primers from Make Up For Ever and Mii Cosmetics.
How to choose for your skin:
- Oily or combination skin: a mattifying primer, such as Shine Control Primer or Mii Mattifying Face Primer.
- Dry skin: a hydrating primer, such as Primer Hydra Booster or Ultra HD Skin Booster.
- Visible pores: Pore Minimizer Primer.
- Redness or a dull, yellow or grey complexion: a colour-correcting primer, such as Redness Correcting Primer, Dullness Eraser, Yellowness Neutralizer or Grayness Reducer.
- Radiant look: Fresh Brightener or Tone Up Perfector.
- Extra protection: UV Protector Primer SPF50+.
Then choose your foundation.
Frequently asked questions
Everything you want to know
Do you really need a primer?
It’s not a must, but you see the difference. Without primer, foundation slides off more easily and you need more touch-ups. Worth it if you wear your make-up for more than a few hours.
How do you apply primer?
After your day cream and SPF, all over your face. Use a small amount, spread with your fingers or a make-up sponge and let it absorb before you continue.
Can you use primer without foundation?
Yes. Primer on its own already gives an even, polished look without coverage. Ideal for low make-up days.
