Footlogix | Nail Tincture spray against fungal nails and discolored toenails

For yellow corners, discoloured or thickened toenails, even if it is just 1 nail. The spray with clotrimazole, avocado oil and panthenol runs easily under the nail and dries quickly. Spray twice a day and keep it up for at least 3 months, because a toenail grows slowly. Also spray the Shoe Fresh in your shoes. Read the full Footlogix protocol or see all Footlogix products.

How to do it

How do you care for discoloured toenails at home?

In this video I show you step by step how to use the Nail Tincture and what to look out for.

Frequently asked questions

All about discoloured toenails

How many bottles do I need?
1 bottle is often too little to see results. A toenail grows slowly, so I recommend a 3-month course to my clients, that is 3 bottles. The course also comes with the Shoe Fresh: 3-month course with shoe spray.
Why do I have to treat my shoes too?
Because otherwise your nails keep coming into contact with what is in your shoes. Spray the Shoe Fresh in your shoes every day. Shoes can contain fungal spores, the Shoe Fresh keeps them fresh.
Do socks protect against fungus from your shoes?
Not completely. Fungal spores pass through the fabric, especially when your feet sweat. Wear clean socks every day, preferably cotton or wool, and wash them at 60 degrees: at 30 degrees the spores survive. Also alternate your shoes so they can dry for a day.
Can I paint my nails?
Preferably not: polish, and certainly gel polish, seals the nail and keeps it warm and damp underneath. Want to paint them anyway, for example in summer? Then spray the Nail Tincture under the free edge of the nail, use a separate bottle of polish for the discoloured nail and disinfect your clipper and file after every use.
I have white flakes after gel polish or Striplac, is that the same?
No, a damaged or white top layer without discolouration is usually polish damage. Then leave the polish off for a while, let the nail grow out and care for it with the Argan Oil for Nail Care from Mokosh. If you also see yellow corners or edges, or the nail is thickened, the Nail Tincture is the right choice. Both can also occur together.
Is a discoloured nail contagious?
It can be. Use a separate file for that nail or a disposable file, disinfect your nail clipper with alcohol after use and don't share your towel.
How do I clip or file a thick nail?
If the nail is not too thick yet, clip it carefully. If it is too thick, shorten it with a coarser file. Then make the top very gently thinner once a week with a buffer. It removes less than a file, so you don't take off too much and the Nail Tincture can absorb better.
Can I also use the spray preventively?
Yes. If your nails are prone to discolouration or it keeps coming back, spray once or several times a week.
