Frequently asked questions
Everything you want to know
What is the difference between dry and dehydrated skin?
Dry skin makes too little oil and feels rough and tight. Dehydrated skin has enough oil but too little water, and can even look oily. Dry skin needs nourishing products, dehydrated skin hydrating ones like hyaluronic acid.
Why does my skin react to almost everything?
Your skin barrier is probably weakened, so irritants get in more easily. Avoid fragrance, alcohol and harsh scrubs, and build your routine up slowly.
How do I repair my skin barrier?
Use gentle products, don’t cleanse too often or too hot, and choose ingredients like ceramides, hyaluronic acid or niacinamide. Give your skin time: repair takes weeks.
Can I use regular skincare with eczema?
Choose gentle, fragrance-free products and moisturise often, even when your skin isn’t itchy. With severe eczema, see a dermatologist too.
