Why is the cream purple?

The pigments are encapsulated. When you apply it, they are released and the cream turns into a tinted fluid that adapts to your skin tone.

Do I still need a day cream under Hydra Finish?

No. Guinot states that a serum is enough to prepare the skin, the cream itself hydrates sufficiently.

Is SPF 15 enough for a day in the sun?

For an ordinary day, SPF 15 gives basic protection. If you spend a long time in the sun, choose a separate sun protection with a higher SPF.
