How to do it

How do you remove calluses at home without forcing it?

In this video I show you step by step how to remove your calluses yourself with the callus softener and the file.

Frequently asked questions

All about removing calluses

Why does this set work?
The spray with urea softens callus, so you need much less force to file. You only file when your skin no longer feels wet, so you can see how much you remove. No need to rinse.
What is in it?
The 100 ml Callus softener spray and a double-sided stainless steel callus file. After your order you also get my DIY pedicure guide.
How often do I remove calluses?
Every 2 to 4 weeks, a bit more often in one season than another. A thin layer of callus protects your foot: the goal is soft heels, not bare skin.
Why does callus always come back?
Callus is your skin's reaction to pressure and dryness. That pressure stays, so callus comes back. That is why you apply the DD Cream Mousse every day, especially on your heels. Then it comes back much more slowly.
How long do I leave the spray on?
A few minutes, until your skin is no longer wet but still slightly sticky. With stubborn callus 2 to 3 minutes is fine.
Can I file away too much callus?
Yes. Stop before your skin starts to feel warm or sensitive. Better to do it again next time than everything at once.
Does this also work for cracked heels?
Yes. First file the callus away carefully, then apply the Cracked Heel mousse from the cracked heel routine every day.
