It is a gel top coat for the Alessandro nail polishes. You get a gel look without a lamp, in two steps: your colour and then the top coat. It adds shine and helps keep your polish looking good for longer.
No. The Gelactic top coat simply air-dries. If you want it to go faster, you can use the Gelactic speed dry spray.
That mainly depends on your nails. Polish lasts longer on strong, dry nails than on soft or oilier nails. My tip: apply a new layer of top coat after a few days. That adds shine again and keeps your colour looking good for longer.
The Striplac top coat is gel polish and you cure it under an LED lamp. The Gelactic top coat is for regular nail polish, without a lamp. You remove it with a regular remover, such as the acetone-free nail polish remover.
