They are size SS3, which is about 1.3 mm. So they are very small and give a subtle accent. They look lovely at the cuticle or as a fine line.
The back is flat and has a silver foil. The flat side makes them sit firmly on your nail. The foil reflects the light, so they sparkle more.
They come off along with your polish when you soak it off with Soak Off Liquid. Do not pull or scrape them off, that way you protect your nail.
