Two thin layers, each for 60 seconds under the lamp. A bright shade covers more nicely in two thin layers than in one thick one. Then the top coat follows.

Both are possible, that is where the name peel or soak comes from. Peeling off is quickest with the peel off remover. To soak off, use soak off liquid: leave to soak for 10 to 15 minutes under foil and then gently push the polish away with a cuticle stick.
Usually it comes down to the preparation. A nail that is not properly degreased, or a layer that is too thick, adheres less well. Degrease with nail cleanser or a cleansing wipe, work in thin layers and seal your edge. If you naturally have oilier nails, try the prime coat.
