How do I apply it with the brush?
Start by combing your eyebrow hairs upwards with the spoolie side, so you can clearly see any sparse areas. Then, take a small amount of product with the angled side of the brush and make small, angled strokes in the direction of your hair growth to mimic real hairs. Use the brush more broadly at the front of your eyebrow and taper it towards the end. Build it up gradually: a little product goes a long way.
What is the difference compared to an eyebrow pencil?
A cream or powder product with a brush generally gives a softer, more natural result than a pencil because you can blend the color beautifully and lightly color both the hairs and the skin underneath, making your eyebrow look optically fuller. At the same time, this formula is intensely pigmented and long-lasting, so you don't have to compromise on color or hold. One of my clients put it nicely: the result looks more natural than with a pencil, and it is easy to apply.
Which of the three shades should I choose?
Base your choice on your own eyebrow/hair color and preferably choose a shade lighter, as this always gives the most natural effect, and too dark often looks harsh. Keep in mind that the product appears darker on your skin than it looks in the pot, so it is better to build it up gradually. Then moisten the brush very slightly before picking up the product; the color will become more intense and you can draw tighter lines.
What is the spiral brush for?
That spoolie brush on the other side of the brush is essential for a natural end result. Use it beforehand to comb your hairs into shape, and afterwards to gently go through your eyebrows and blend the product nicely. This prevents harsh, "drawn-on" edges and blends the color naturally with your own hairs. The difference between "made up" and "effortlessly beautiful" is often precisely that last comb-through.
