Frequently asked questions

All about the glossy finish

What does the glossy finish do?

The glossy finish removes the sticky layer that stays on your top coat after curing. You use it for that last step instead of your nail cleanser. You can see the difference in the extra shine on your polish.

How do I use the glossy finish?
  1. Apply your top coat and cure it under the lamp.
  2. Put a little glossy finish on a lint-free wipe, such as the cotton nail wipes.
  3. Wipe over each nail, from the cuticle to the tip.
Can I also use the glossy finish for regular gel polish?

Yes. It works for Striplac and also for other gel polish or gelish that has a sticky layer after curing.

My nails look a bit duller after a while. Can I bring back the shine?

Yes. Just go over your nails with the glossy finish again. That freshens up your colour.

What is the difference with the cleansing wipes?

You use the Striplac cleansing wipes to degrease your nails before you start, and you can also use them to remove the sticky layer. You only use the glossy finish for that last step, when you want extra shine.
