A foundation made mainly of finely ground minerals, such as mica, zinc oxide, titanium dioxide and iron oxide. The Irresistible Face Base contains no talc, fragrance, parabens or preservatives. Thanks to the pure pigments you get a lot of coverage from very little powder.

1. Tip a little powder into the lid.
2. Dab your brush in it and tap off the excess.
3. Apply in circular motions, from the centre of your face outwards.
4. Build up layer by layer until you have the coverage you want.

I recommend the Precise mineral kabuki brush.

A clean brush gives a more even finish. I spray mine clean after use with the On The Spot brush cleanser.

Apply the powder to your cheek, just above your jawline. If the colour blends into your skin, you have a match. Do not test on your hand or wrist, they are almost always darker or lighter than your face.

Yes, it is recommended for sensitive skin and suits all skin types, including combination or oily skin with blemishes. It contains no talc, fragrance or parabens. Nobody can guarantee you will not react to anything, so try it calmly the first time.

The foundation contains a mineral UV filter thanks to titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. That is a bonus, not full sun protection. Apply a separate SPF first, especially in summer.

The normal size contains 8 g, the travel size 2.5 g. The travel size is handy to try a shade or to take on a trip.

Usually it comes down to what is underneath. Let your day cream sink in well first, work in thin layers and move your kabuki in small circles. Skip extra powder on dry patches around your nose or mouth.

Once your summer tan has faded, 1 shade lighter often looks better. With mineral powder you can also mix 2 shades in the lid, so you always sit right between summer and winter.
